Possible 15 points on offer which would put us on 36, that being generally accepted as the target to stay up if not even a couple of points less!

Can see us definitely getting wins amongst that lot, in particular Norwich, Villa and Watford.

We’re certainly capable of beating anybody so Newcastle and Brighton shouldn’t scare us.

However I don’t think or expect we’ll win all five but I can see us being all but safe after Boxing Day, with maybe not even a couple of wins needed through the rest of the season.

We have a good run of fixtures coming up so there is a chance we could be celebrating not just the festive season come Boxing Day!

9 points from that lot. Still going to be tight. Still reckon lower middle table, 15th max. I'll be happy there as long as Pigs are 7th or in play off and beaten in 97th minute of extra by a Cardiff City side miraculously taken over by Nigel Adkins in the last week of the season.

No chance. We'll not win more than half of those. Every one of those games are difficult. Newcastle held Man City, for instance. Norwich have picked up. Villa are doing well. Brighton are solid. It's very close. We've had a great start to the season but we're only 7 points of relegation. A bad run would see us plummet. 40 points for safety, I reckon.

I'm still not entirely convinced we won't get dragged into it. We've played very well so far and had we turned more of our good performances into wins, we'd be sitting pretty. But we haven't, we've left a lot of points out there on the pitch. On top of that, we've relied on a very small number of players so far. Once bans and injuries start mounting up I can't see us keeping our current form up.

Coupled with the suspected high number of points needed to stay up and the 13 year spectre rears its ugly head.

I mean, I'm sure we'll be fine. I'm just not sure we'll be fine.

If you look so far, and most people would suggest over a third of the way through is enough to get a feeling, then late 30’s will be needed

I reckon Watford and Norwich will have gone before Easter, but that last place is always hard fought
We will end up mid 40’s, around 12th and comfortable

Even if we get the full 15 points from those fixtures, which isn't really very likely, we would be on 34 points.
