I have yet again renewed my two season tickets. Nobody has mugged or will mug me. This is a fight to the finish. I saw off the former non-league, semi-pro, reserve keeper. I intend to be there to wave goodbye to Quickfix Micky, Dinosaur Dave, The Best Attacking Coach In The Business and, with particular relief, The Maestro.

Maybe we'll try football one day, eh?

AB... just to help out.

Every post anti-Blade in some way (fans, owner, management etc.) = preaching the gospel truth and the only ones who can see right from wrong. Adopts patronising tone which when others can't be bothered to argue with, somehow counts as a win for them.

Post in a balanced way, some bad things, some good things where fit = rose-tinted spectacle wearing clapper who should be ashamed that they follow the club. Should be pleased to be patronised by those above because it's for their own good really.

Post mainly positive stuff, because they can't be arsed to whinge on about the bad stuff on internet forums = should be sectioned for their own good and pitied.

Just so you know.

The perversity comes from those fans who refuse to see the reality, not moi.
And sadly, those fans who bought season tickets are now likely to get royally done over. It'll be worth remembering what that marketing campaign involved in the weeks to come.
I'll have a few more pennies to buy my jelly babies and spend on petrol going to look at the lambs.

Players will come and players will go, but at the end of it I'll be watching a team of eleven players in Blades shirts (or likely often 10 if Hendo stays ). Some times they'll play well and I'll be proud to be a Blade, sometimes they'll play crap and I'll still be proud, just less vocally, but whatever happens, whichever league we're in, whoever owns or manages or plays for the club, I'll be a Blade and never an Owl or a Dingle and for that I will always be happy.

Yes, we are simply incapable of appreciating a very special genious. His conceding of penalties is exquisite; his ability to turn the ball into a blancmange when 'controlling' it and then immediately into a hand-grenade when passing it is totally unmatched. His ball-playing trickery is worthy of Paul Daniels but much funnier. Some of us just miss the point, I guess.

I'll just check the League table and compare and contrast it with The Maestro's appearances this season. The mystery of this legendary figure leading us to ignominious relegation must be solved. Perhaps Frank Lampard or Patrick Vieira can assist?

I'll be there next season along with thousands of TRUE BLADES it may be shit/ good/ brilliant but it won't deter. Nor will sad loners telling me how bad it is when all they want to do is start a season ticket boycott that failed.

So the club may be run badly, nowt I can do about it, nor would i want to. lf it gets too expensive or I have enough I'll just walk away and perhaps write an email or letter to the club. I won't be writing "look at me" threads on here for that.

Why let the facts get in the way of a good argument? The number of people who complain about a particular player being in the team or another one being omitted/substituted and when they're faced with the facts they just choose to ignore them. Very rarely do people admit to being wrong when they know the facts.
