I'm curious as to who would each of you want us to sign in the January Window, and more importantly why? To mix things up a bit, one nomination from each of the below...

1. The Championship
2. Lower leagues
3. Premiership loan
4. A foreign league

Try and keep the suggestions realistic, for example no 'Hazard on loan from Chelsea' etc.

Also, a suggestion to what you would expect the market value of each player to be.

Go.

For what it's worth, mine would be:

1. Luke Freeman - natural replacement for Duffy - £5m
2. Josh Maja - young pacy striker - £2m
3. Eddie Nketiah - shown glimpses of being a quality player - Loan
4. Habib Diallo - top scorer in Ligue 2, strong striker - £5m

That young kid from QPR who was running rings around us earlier this season. Sorry can't remember his name. I think £10 million was bandied around at the time.
Think he would be a good fit in Duffy's role. The next Brooks?

Mount looked decent from Derby

We won’t spend £5m on anyone

1. Luke Freeman (QPR): 5 million
2. Chuks Aneke (MK Dons): 1 million
3. Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal)
4. Kamberi, Boyle, and Mallan at Hibs in the Scottish Premiership might all be worth a look.

Eberechi Eze - great shout

1. I’d like to say Freeman, Jota, Hogan, Nick Powell or Callum Robinson but none are realistic. One who is slighty more realistic is Jarrod Bowen from Hull.

Highly-rated youngster when he broke through last season. Similar player to Duffy - intelligent, mobile with an eye for goal. He can play out wide or central. Seems to have stalled under the football genius Nigel Adkins and Hull are in the sh*t. A cheeky £4m bid would definitely be rejected but might unsettle him and make him push for a move. Surely he’d want to come to us.

2. Who’s that striker at Fleetwood?

3. Angel Gomes from Manchester United.

4. Won’t happen, we’re Brexit Blades.

  1. Luke Freeman QPR) or Daniel Johnson (Preston)
  2. Tom Hopper (Southend), Keiffer Moore (Barnsley) or Josh Maja (Sunderland)
  3. Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) or Maitland-Niles (Arsenal)
  4. Luther Singh (SC Braga) - based purely on Fifa 19.

1 - Lucas Joao
2 - Chuks Aneke
3 - Loftus-Cheek (why not.)
4 - Kevin-Prince Boateng (Schalke)

1. Ronnie O'Sullivan
2. Beast Mode on
3. Jeremy Clarkson
4. Leonel Messy

What about Jed Wallace from milwall as competition for Duffy. He got quite a few assists last year and might do well in that role.

Boro had a £6m bid rejected for both him and saville together on deadline day. Milwall might be more open to a deal for just one .

1. The Championship - Luke Freeman (QPR) - being the obvious like for like & long term replacement for Duffy or Britt Assombalonga (Middlesbrough) - Watched him a few times this year for Boro and he looks wasted in the current set up they have. With a strike partner alongside him and the amount of chances we create, I think he could be deadly as he was were at this level especially.

2. Lower leagues - Karlan Ahearne-Grant (Charlton) - Having a great start to the season at Charlton. Might not get a lot of game time initially here, but he is one to watch for sure.

3. Premiership loan - Kieron Dowell (Everton) - if Freeman cannot be bought in Jan. This guy would be a good alternative.

4. A foreign league - Jordan Jones (Kilmarnock) - I wont pretend to know a lot about this guy but from snippets that I have seen, he looks to have some ability.

Lol Josh Maja ... is there supposed to be a 1 before that £2m?

Robinson at Preston. Be a great signing and has age on his side. I do feel we miss someone like Brooks with pace and a football brain to use as a Plan B.

2. Drew Yearwood at southend, looks a top quality young player i reckon 2 mill would be more than enough, maybe even 1 with add ons etc
