The council say no swearing!!!. Does that mean the players also?. Can’t really see that happening if the players have had a skinful beforehand!!!. ( think stearman).

Jesus christ, haven't they got some trees they could have been cutting down instead of writing that bollocks?

Aside from the “no swearing” which is a tad optimistic given that would put paid to most of our song book all it’s really saying is “try not to act like a cunt”.

You’d think this would be obvious but some people fail to grasp this.

I was sat on wall on Cherry Street out of the way,lot of pushing and some barriers went over
Hopefully no one hurt

We are at a moment when the city is ours, and there is an opportunity for the one thing to happen which will ensure the club's long-term future - the creation of the next generation of fans, leaving S6 way behind. Tuesday evening should be a celebration for Blades of all ages, and for lots of kids it could be one of those moments which leads to a life-long commitment to United. So make it noisy, make it funny, celebrate, but remember 2 things:
1. Don't make it intimidating, whether for 5-year old kids or elderly grandparents (or anyone else).
2. Remember that it is first and foremost about the players and the rest of the staff. They are the centre of attention. It is not about us, though we can help to make it a great evening. Enjoy!

Sheffield City Council have announced an open top bus parade to celebrate a last minute success for Sheffield Wednesdays season.

Sheffield United only got promoted and didn't win the league.

White Lightning and Spice all round.

Sheffield city councils advice to SWFC fans......

Stay inside with your windows closed
Do not turn on the tv
Do not listen to the radio
Avoid all forms of social media
Do not use public transport that appears to have lost its roof and is full of happy people dressed in red and white
Most of all if you do attempt any of the above please MIND THE GAP, ITS MASSIVE

Dear Sheffield council, please make sure all buses have a mind the gap sign when getting on and off, always best to remind some of the obvious round here.

Stick your fingers in your ears and go 'la, la, lah'. Like you've been doing for the last three years.

What are people doing regarding drink?
People taking a few bottles/cans with them?

A couple of years ago most people seemed to bring cans from the shop on division street. It was a blessing (cheap beer) and a curse (people spraying beer everywhere). I went straight from work and was wearing a suit, fairly sure it still stinks of beer. :D

Top post says glass bottles not allowed btw.

Yeah saw the bit about glass bottles.
Probably take a few cans, or see if there's any plastic bottles about :)

So how did we do?
- Do not follow the bus too closely. Fail
- Be respectful of and listen to instructions from stewards Fail?
- Do not throw anything up in to the open top bus Fail
- Do not bring glass bottles in to the fanzone Fail
- Do not throw cans, cups or other solid objects in to the air, across crowds or over barriers Fail
- Do not set off smoke bombs Fail
- Do not attempt to enter the barrier areas pass?
- Be respectful and do not swear Fail
- Be aware of others around them during celebrations pass
- Listen to instructions from stewards assisting the event pass?
- Make sure children are accompanied at all times pass?

Most of the fails were from the bus and club itself :)
