Do not follow the bus too closely. This is not only potentially very dangerous, but will also delay proceedings for the whole evening's celebration

- Be respectful of and listen to instructions from stewards
- Do not throw anything up in to the open top bus
- Do not bring glass bottles in to the fanzone
- Do not throw cans, cups or other solid objects in to the air, across crowds or over barriers
- Do not set off smoke bombs
- Do not attempt to enter the barrier areas
- Be respectful and do not swear
- Be aware of others around them during celebrations
- Listen to instructions from stewards assisting the event
- Make sure children are accompanied at all times

Which roads are closed?

- 2pm-9.30pm: Fargate, Surrey Street, Leopold Street, Pinstone Street, Burgess Street and Holly Street/Balm Green

- 5pm-6.30pm: Rolling road closures from Cherry Street, onto Bramall Lane, across St Mary's Gate roundabout, along Eyre Street, across Furnival Gate Roundabout, along Arundel Gate, onto Norfolk Street and into Surrey Street

What are the timings?

5.30pm: Open top bus leaves Bramall Lane

6.30pm: Bus arrives at Sheffield Town Hall

7.00pm: SUFC Players presented to crowd at front of Town Hall

This is going to all go so Pete Tong.
Correct

forgot to add a comment to this in my original post
- Make sure children are accompanied at all times...........well thats the squad fooked then.....we won't be having a ceremony

May have missed it but will this be live streamed somewhere?

Let's hope it's better organised than yesterday's return to the Lane by the players bus. It's a wonder that there weren't any injuries....or worse. Very scary when the bus decided to drive through the crowd towards the ground.

It is being covered by Look Leeds I think plus the Sheff tv channel as well. but from 18.00 till 22.00 on rad sheff tomorrow. fh tonight at 6, think pillock might appear for another meltdown....
"whoaaa.....ooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh what a feeling 30,000 blades dannnn.......cing on the ceiling......."
my appologies to Lionel Richtea and Chris Kamara

Agreed. As I say, I thanked the driver this morning (Scots bloke) for being so bloody careful and not getting anyone stuck in his tyre treads. When he swung right into the car park I was quite close by and his back wheels came up on the pavement and a few were just not watching what the coach was doing or where the wheels were. I think it was a good scheme him jamming the front end in by the hotel and 'tradesmans entrance' (as it were)

Some people are red. Some people are amber. Some people are green.

If you treat everyone as red you’ll just piss off the majority, who are green, and give the amber folks ideas they’d otherwise not have thought of.

Ignore the red. Because they’ll be red no matter what you say or do.

Just keep the green onside. And the amber will follow.

And those rules are just for Wilder and the players.

General Chat for political analogy, you tree hugging chuff!

For an open top bus parade the route seems a bit crap. Straight to the Town Hall via Arundel Gate? What's wrong with going down London Rd at least?

If I wait at a bus stop patiently, in a lovely manner, with no swear words, holding my hand out, will it stop for me and will my all day saver still be ok to use? Thanks in advance to the Sheffield City Council. :)
