Let's wait to the end of the transfer window before going crazy. Peck isn't going to be starting if Soumare is the player he seems he might be.

RND is clearly not meant to be starting either, apparently JLT might be off to Wrexham...

It's not ideal where we are but I would rather end the transfer window with quality signings, that bring in average players just because we can get them quick.

Lack of having a defence absolutely true, genuinely think he needs an entire new one after what I just saw today, but with that being said his set up is completely wrong and needs to change that very quickly. He needs to change the roles of his fullbacks, Seriki will be a big loser in this if he decides to do that, or by dropping one of O’Hare/Hamer and playing a double pivot. If we setup the same way we’ll get destroyed on the counter by the whole league and Selles will be gone before Christmas. Obvious from the first game, has to adapt.

No idea whether Selles will come good or not. But it was not good that we ended up with McCallum at right-back and Cannon on the right-wing. I can think of no reason why that would benefit the team as a whole or those 2 players as individuals.

Soumare could be the real deal, I know Barry is a loan but looks like a good one. There are small signs, but I will cling to them for the time being

The season may be a marathon, but I don't think anyone ever won a marathon running the first few miles in flip flops.

We need 2 CBs (or three if JLT leaves). Happy to wait until the end of the window for one CB, but the other needs to be in the door by Monday (really should have been last Monday).

That approach was naive at best and suicidal at worst. Tried to play that way without the horses to do it, while appreciating the board have tied his hands by the sales combined with lack of any ability to close deals

Wilder was too rigid in someways but thinking about it he wouldn’t have exposed the likes of RND like that imo. Shite player offered zero protection = that result

Hope he learns quickly and shows he can adapt or he isn’t going to be here long. In fairness he did spell out where it went wrong and what we were crap at. So hope he can address it

100% Anel and Souza were going to be on their way almost as soon as the final whistle was blown at Wembley. The lack of planning to bring in experienced replacements shows that they haven’t given Selles much support to recruit.

At this stage, there doesn’t appear to be a plan. Bring in Selles, that’s fine, but support him and recruit. Give him a squad to compete.

I need to catch up on a few of these things as I haven’t seen Selles pre match presser but I understand he’s tempered expectations a little for this season and talked about reducing the average age of the squad (last season we were the 3rd youngest in the division).

We already lack experience in this side…
