I've seen quite a few comments about us managing the 'promotion yardstick' of 2 points/game average, but I have just noticed that in so doing, we have, after 12 games, managed to overtake Rotherham's total haul for the entirety of last season.
Cap doffed to the Millers fans who turned up week in week out to watch that shite but football is a tough old game and the more local rival we eclipse the better.

They have constantly updating defence mechanisms to make themselves feel better in the present about the whole situation.

November 2016 - They always bottle it.

February 2017 - They always bottle it.

May 2017 - Huge step up, they'll go straight back down. They'll get less points than Rotherham.

August 2017 - Brentford are poor, this is the only time they'll be above us this season.

September 2017 - We'll hammer them at Hillsborough.

October 2017 - We'll still finish above them, they can't keep it up.

Eventually they’ll be saying

“ Don’t want to be in the PL anyway, it’s too false and all the big traditional proper clubs are in the Championship anyway” followed by
‘Cant believe United want to be in the PL, getting thrashed by Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea etc every week can’t be fun”

Pig fans are so predictable ha ha

October 2017 - La Liga is a poor league this year. It has to be for them to be up there.

I'm predicting next week's will be:

"Typical of Reading to have broken their away win duck in the previous match, thus decreasing the probability of a further away win at Bramall Lane. Not only are their opponents hitting the woodwork 7 times per match, and not only are they benefitting from at least 1 own goal and penalty per game, the entire mathematical school of statistics and probabilities is on their side"

Have a like cos it made me smile cos it reminds me of one of the lads I know who is so much like this. The rest of us (bar the other one of us who is a pig) just take the piss out of him with subtle humour and get him all riled up without him even knowing. I like tweedledum and tweedledee (as they are known when it comes to football by the rest of us Blades and they are my mates after all) but they are laughingly easy to wind up in their complete blind bias and hatred of all things Utd. When it comes to local football reality and knowledge, they are thicker than the girth of John Holmes cock.

and imagine my amazement listening to Radio Sheff and hearing they were doing so well with the fitness coach managing them! Credit to Warne he couldn't save them last season but he's doing something right.

I listened to him in preseason and this season an he speaks a lot of sense

Think he needs to understand, like many managers, where his weaknesses are and to not be afraid to bring in a team around him.
