Think some people are missing the point of my post about it being 'disappointing'
What i'm trying to say is this:
People who have around 40k points, are still loyal fans of the club. That's still plenty of matches that the person has attended. That's still loyalty.
If the threshold is 40k points and then the tickets sell out, if a person has 39k points, they would have had to rely on asking if anyone over 40k points isn't attending and is able to use their ticket.
This then rewards the person not attending, with the loyalty points. That person has their loyalty points increased, the people below 40k are still stuck where they are.
If this happens throughout a whole season, the person 'not attending' would be above 50k points possibly, and the threshold keeps getting higher and higher, therefore deeming it very difficult for people to actually attend matches.
I don't think it's entirely fair that those with only just fewer points are unable to attend matches such as Rotherham, Leeds, Pigs, Barnsley (when in same league as us, obviously) just because they didn't go to Cardiff away on a Tuesday night for example.
Not everyone is in the same position as those with higher loyalty points, some people don't have the time, don't have the money and just simply cannot attend. They are still LOYAL fans, just trying to attend as many as possible, but they can't because of people with higher loyalty points 'lending tickets' to people with lower points.
TL;DR - It shouldn't be possible to lend people their tickets/loyalty points in order to attend the match as it then causes the bridge between being beneath the threshold and above the threshold become further and further apart.
The loyalty point system is the most fair way possible to buy tickets, but in a way, people aren't really helping themselves when asking to borrow points from people with a higher number
