Yes, we’ll have to keep agreeing to disagree in an amicable fashion.

You’re right, other clubs have them, but I’m right, we have more than most. The Saturday Shoutbox when we dare to concede a goal, or Pele forbid, lose a game, is a maelstrom of wildly jerking knees and rapidly crumbling backbones.

Indeed and if there was ever a manager of sheffield United we need for the play offs it’s the man we have now. Norwood can help with his recent experiences.

It’s easy to overthink these things. My view is play Norwood and if he gets booked, deal with it, don’t assume we can beat Rotherham and Brentford without him when we couldn’t even beat the pigs with him.

I get your point and I’d normally agree, play your best available team every game etc. Our back-up players haven’t let us down recently against stronger opposition in Boro and WBA though.

I’m not saying Rotherham and Brentford will be a walk in the park, but Coutts has more than enough quality.

why all the negativity over the Rotherham game, we so nearly beat them at theirs when we put up such a poor blades display ??

Oh I've witnessed the Shoutbox during a match day, it is exactly as you describe. I'm just wondering how you've come to the conclusion that our fans are worse than any others. I'm assuming you spend a lot of time on the Shoutbox (or whatever the equivalent is) of all the other teams across the country.

Not as many misplaced passes as Coutts though, in the games I’ve seen him in recently.

I love Coutts, great player, but I don’t think he’s ready to start yet. Of course, I’m not Wilder or Prestridge, I don’t see him train or know how good his stamina is. I’m happy to leave it to the experts.

I’m not interested in Bookies’ odds. They reflect the opinion of the masses who like to gamble on football games.

Whilst the league indicates Rotherham are inferior to Leeds, the margins are fine, I have issues with the idea that we should deliberately weaken our team to ensure we can play a full strength team against Leeds.
 



I've just realised this is a 12.15pm kick off is it on Sky tv ? If so where can I watch in Krakow ?
 
I'm happy with whatever team the manager selects as I'm confident that he knows better than any of us on here. We saw that his decision to rotate the squad worked a treat against Reading and he might consider something similar against Rotherham. Of course whatever team he selects will be the wrong one if we lose the game to Rotherham :rolleyes:
 
Leaving Norwood out is of course a possibility for Rotherham.

but, leaving him out is just bonkers - we have to trust him as we did against Wednesday.

Lets put Rotherham under pressure - get a couple of goals in front (hopefully) then get him off.

he just has to be disciplined. He fouled someone early in the game v Piggies and was then very disciplined after that.

Not looking forward to it myself, think it will be a far harder match than the one last night against the dark side. We’re not great against teams that sit back or constantly use long throws and there will be loads of those launched into the penalty area. I watched the match last night with a mate who’s a Millers fan and he said if we played the 3-5-2 system it’s one that they seem to play well against. Hopefully it will be a comfortable win (for us) but I’ve also got a niggly feeling about this one. The match that we nearly won at theirs earlier in the season was one where had we won, we would have robbed them, I think the result flattered us to an extent, they’re also draw specialists so it just seems a game that might be a lot more difficult than the league table suggests

Can I refer you to this post?

We face a Rotherham side who haven't won an away game in the Championship all season and have only 7 points from a possible 51 away points. Not quite ‘high noon’ (12.15 KO) but a game every bit as important as Monday’s.

Last gaining an away win in The Championship on 9th April 2016 with a 4-0 win at MK Dons, this Saturday is The Millers’ 43rd attempt to get three away points at this level – 1,064 days…However The Millers have recently become ‘draw specialists’ with creditable away draws at Reading, Hull and Millwall. Six days early, but ‘Beware The Ides of March’? :eek:

It's not like we haven't got 'form' with this. :(

When Bolton won at Bramall Lane on 30th December 2017 (0-1, some bloke called Madine got the only goal...) they hadn't won an away game for 999 days (37 matches).
 
Really hope we come back with a bang in this one. The pig fans are really pissing me off this week

Continual fouling without the fear of a booking was allowed by the ref on Monday night. Norwood could have smashed someone in the face and probably just had a ticking off.
