-I thought Berbatov was almost out of the door?
-Surely when summat like this happens everyone goes up in the pecking order?

I'll be surprised if Cofie ever plays for Man Utd.

He'll be another "highly rated" teen that they sit on for a few years then sell on.

This was down to Harry being a 'Grade A' dick. In one afternoon he let Naughton go to Middlesboro and recalled Walker despite our 'agreement'.
Cofie won't go back to Man Utd as he is nowhere near ready for premiership action yet, let alone the standards that they set out. Highbury has already listed the players ahead of him, but he also missed out their new signings of Henriquez and Powell. 8 strikers is probably enough by anyone's standard!!

I think Fergie can cop without Cofie, in fact didn't he buy some young lad from Crewe in the summer as a development player.

Fergie is very good at getting players out to sides where they can develop.

Besides the bigger picture for Fergie might eventually be that if we have Cofie on the cheap for a season, then he gets "first dibs" on George Long if/ when he is ready to make the step up (Fergie was rumoured to be an admirer of him )

It will almost certainly mean him cutting short the loan. In fact, we could end up sending Blackman as extra cover for them too.
