Before AK bangs on their door and tells them to get some sleep otherwise they’ll be sleeping with him and CW.

• Rodwell and Sander watching the Sunderland documentary on Netflix and Rodwell desperately trying to explain his side of the story.
• Zivkovic trying to hold a conversation with Moose through the bathroom door, unawares he’s been asleep in the bath for the last 45 minutes. Then he has to go next door for a piss, to Norwood and Baldocks room, but they arent too happy because theyve become set in their ways and don't like anyone else using their bathroom.

They’d both be up until 1am taking it in turns to try and poke it down the bend with the bog brush. Then they’d need a shower each.

Ben sat in bed at 8:30 reading the latest book from the Guardian recommended reads list, after hoovering the bed (”just to be sure”).

Lys, the total opposite, itching to turn MTV Base on the tv full whack and get a party going, with the lads next door (McBurnie and Didzy).

They exchange words. Ben, despite his small size is stern and Lys backs down. Sulking, he raids the mini bar and angrily flicks through the hotel guide book, pretending to read.

They go to sleep without saying another word to each other...

With a Robbo roomie, I can imagine Osborn, tome in hand, occasionally pausing from reading to tell Robinson yet another “when I used to room with Joe Lolley...” story. Robinson, who doesn’t care that they used to spend the evenings ahead of games exchanging positions on a range of philosophical matters, sticks his air pods in and returns to his graphic novel (which Osborn critiqued as “borderline literature”).
