Well, the pub is long gone that I used to sup in during the six? previous visits... But I should shut up moaning about that because the Blades need our support ;)

I work in Grimsby, over there they call me a Yorkshire Pudding, please don't make it any worse for me & put on a decent performance.

With all due respects TD , I think LYDON , and LS26 , have the vitriolic abuse of man , woman , and child down to a tee , but it's nice to see you catching up with them good show old man .

That's only me in second gear.

At full throttle I get death threats and Pig fans trying to find my address :D

My first ever away victory watching the Blades was at Blundell Park in 1984, it was on ITV the next day.

Can`t remember who scored, but we won 2-0.

My outstanding memory of the game was a brilliant one handed Burridge save from Paul Wilkinson at the far end.
One of the best I`ve seen.

Last time I went to Blundell Park my ex was pregnant with our young un. We were having a posh weekend away in Cleethorpes and took her to see Grimsby reserves v Blackpool reserves. I was always romantic.

Edwards scored with a free kick into top corner, not sure who scored the other.
Burridge managed to trap the ball with the back of his hand and the turf on the goal line. All a bit fuzzy the rest

So it appears that I'm being joined by at least 2000 fellow Blades today!
It's hot and sunny here in North Lincolnshire today so dress appropriately guys ;-)

Oh and don't forget to boo and give abuse to their Pig fan manager Paul Hurst! ;-)

They're all cunts, I fucking hate Grimsby. Needless to say I'm going.

Ah, Grimsby. As they say, "It's a shithole, but it our shithole." Like all English seaside towns, it's a hovel. As this post says:

Re: anyone from Grimsby??? general advice??
hi mate, i would urge you to reconsider. grimsby is a shit hole and is getting worse. the entertainment on the nunsthorpe estate lately is to burn police cars and attack fireman. to suggest the police are dealing with the feral youth is wrong imo. if you must work there i'd live well outside and commute, once inside greater grimsby get your foot down and stop for nothing. i'd make sure your new employer has secure parking on site security and if your working in an office hopefully it'll be on at least the 4th floor so the bricks cant reach

in contrast only 30 mins down the road is the fantastic industrial garden town of scunthorpe, which has over 80% less crack addicts per square mile. it doesnt have a beach, but cleethorpes beach is awash with used syringes and soiled underwear.

At least the locals are, er, interesting:

If you have time and the weather is OK, sample the beaches at nearby Cleethorpes:

Anyway, must go. The coaches are here!
