I thought we’d signed this bloke.

Our fans have an obsession with pace

Here's a newsflash, the fastest players on the planet are usually shit at football

Their control, passing and shooting is just as hurried as their legs, and they generally cannot stay still long enough to have any sort of footballing vision.

Football is about control, ability, and speed of thought, not who can get from A to B the fastest

Adama Traore disagrees.

There's always one
But even he's not a world beater.

He's decent, nothing more
And would probably be even better with 10% less pace allowing himself a split second more thinking time

Sooo... not shit at football though? ;)

He was for a couple of seasons! Very similar to Burke, all fur coat and no knickers sort of player, very flashy but little end product to show for it.

They're about the same age, but Traore seems to have put the work in and developed his game whereas Burke looks to have had a major confidence crisis and at times, almost looks as if he has zero interest in being on a football pitch.

You'd be hard pushed to see a player celebrate a goal at Old Trafford in as lacklustre a way as he did, didn't look bothered at all

No, and neither is Ronaldo

Doesn't alter the fact that football is played at the highest level with quick brains and ball control, rather than pace.

Alan saint maximan is pretty quick and decent, I've have him at the lane tomorrow!

WOW is that the best they can come up with, shows he's good at misplaced passes and missing the target. Can't see anyone being daft enough to sign him based on that.
