Robinson Out!

Don't forget the WWE move in the first half which could easily have seen him sent off, a penalty or free kick....
Forgot that and the long throw that went straight to the keeper.

His Blades career needs to come to an end from today.

Been a half decent player over the last few years, time's up now.

He definitely shouldn't be captain. Other than yelling at the ref (which just leads to the referee telling him to shut up) what are his leadership abilities? He's not leading by example because usually he's the one making the most mistakes. He's not a calming presence on the pitch. Just a year ago he got into a fight with his own teammate (Souza).
Unless he has some leadership qualities in the dressing room we don't see he's not remotely qualified to be captain.
Been told on several different occasions that he is an absolute arsehole with the academy players as well. I don't see one single attribute that he possesses to be a captain.

We needed strong leadership this week after the shitshow at Oxford but Robinson and Wilder have shown us the complete opposite of that.

That's another red flag. The captain should be someone academy players can look up to, not someone who treats them like they're inferior.

He’s not a good defender. His defensive instincts are absolute crud, his reading of the game is weak and he’s awful on the ball.

He’s an absolute bomb scare for us and worst of all, this is in a team where he doesn’t even have to do that much defending ffs, if he wasn’t in a team dominating games we’d be subjected to even more of the circus he served up last season alongside the rest of the planks we had at the back.

Not to mention he’s a poor leader, constantly lary and gets into arguments with the ref, his own players and his own clubs fans.

I never want to see him play for us again.

I hate this player

Seriously, you hate him? I love his never say die attitude and leave it all out there. I don't think he is good enough for what we currently need, but hate him??
It's a low bar if he makes your list.
I must admit, I did post with head loss a bit there... but is it really a surprise that he makes the list of my strongly disliked United players?!

In the six seasons he's been at the club he's been an integral part of two of the most embarrassing seasons in our history. One of which achieved the "worst defence ever" title and will probably hold it for a long time.

Now, after it looked like we'd found a quality replacement in Souttar and would finally see the back of him, he's found his way back into the side and played a major part in embarrassingly capitulating another season.

It's not all his fault and poor transfer business and some bad luck with injuries has given him far more opportunity to play than he ever should have had... but his track record of being found woefully short when called upon is quite the achievement.

If you're not willing to stand by it, I am. I hate him. He's everything wrong with his club.

His issue is the same as it's always been: not tall.enough to consistently play in a back four. As he ages he's also increasingly not quick enough to cover the spaces in behind and in between the fullbacks so he panics. As far as attitude goes theres 10+ players in our squad I'd call before him, including various golden boys on here. It's a bit embarrassing that our young midfield is showing them up. It's amazing the leeway talent will.give you.

Sadly i think you're right. As bad as Robinson was/is, mouse-heart Anel has no stomach for the fight. Consistently now, when the going gets tough, he goes missing...

To be fair he was playing centre back and right back yesterday. I'm not sure what raffle Clarke won but I hope someone else wins it next time.

Unfortunately, the Souttar injury and his inadequate/lack of replacements have cost us big time. I can't understand how the new owners could splash out on Cannon, then not pay a bit more to get the solid defenders (Darling, Dunne etc) who are out of contract in the summer.

I would imagine it was the manager telling the owners what we needed which turned out to be another striker despite our tactics being to try and go 1 up and then retreat to the edge of our box, than cover at centre half

Can't fault his attitude or commitment tbh.
His ability though ?
His attitude and commitment would go abudle on the local parks, as for a professional footballer, he just ain't got it!!

Over 300 professional appearances in the top two divisions would suggest that you are wrong. But he’s not good enough for what we need & I’ve never been convinced that he’s capable of playing CB in a two.

I've watched football mate for 60 odd years, and I don't possess to be a know all I admit, how the fuck he's achieved that christ knows! He can't play football and it's been apparent all season, he's a fucking liability, ever time he gets the ball, I wait for his latest fuck up! Which is not long in coming! How Wilder can play him, and even make the thug captain I find amazing, especially when he brings Holding in who's played countless games for Arsenal defies logic.

Didn't Robbo offer a fan out in the car park once in his earlier career?

There was a post on here recently about hating modern footy. This thread is another example of why I am falling out of love with the game.
We have a committed and wholehearted player who has limited ability when playing top end champ or prem. Skim reading this thread the vitriol and abuse directed at him is horrible. Fickle fans are now the norm, blaming players who are clearly giving everything.
We are all disappointed with the last 3 games, but keep it together. That means sticking with those that got us there in the 1st place, including Wilder and Robinson.

I would suggest that keyboard warriors like you are far more of a problem than a limited player who gives his guts.
Keyboard warrior for hating a footballer? 😂😂😂😂

And ok if you believe that... nuts

He's not big enough to play centre back in a two, not tall enough. I think his lack of size is also the route of all his grappling a set plays as he's not physically big enough to impose himself on his opponent without doing it. He's pretty slow, and is very limited in possession. When put under pressure his lack of technical ability is regularly exposed. Other than that, decent.

So basically what were saying is, he can't play football, which other than Wilder, we've all know for a while🙂

Sincerely? What else don’t you know?

Tell me what’s he’s competent at, cus if you think he’s some sort of Chris Morgan you don’t know the basics of being a center back
Funnily enough I think he is the nearest thing we do have to Chris Morgan, for good and for bad. But that chest puffed out, clean em out approach was OK for mid 2000s, but it doesn’t really stand up 20 years later.
