Stand corrected, but I get the feeling like Slav, selles wants to move away from players what can only operate on one system, therefore outing those what can't or won't change, Slav wanted too, but piss pot prince didn't have no money! Lots of player churn before the August 24 window closed and we did pretty well.

Granted it will be very difficult to target, approach and sign 3 quality defenders before this window closes, especially at the speed we typically do things, but the opportunity is there to improve the squad massively, even if we only get some of the way towards getting it right.

We'd better hope the ones coming in have had a pre season and are ready to start then. It seems Soumare is a few weeks away from being ready and we saw the effect of that on Saturday If we sell RND and Robbo whoever comes in will need to be ready immediately unless the plan is to play Bindon and Sasknauskas together

You may laugh, but the times towards the end of last season when we looked to have the best shape and defensive structure was when we had McCallum at LW and Burrows at LB. Based on Satdy, I wouldn't be against reverting to that for the next few weeks....

As a traditional full back with no requirement to bomb up and down the wing he may make a suitable back up for someone.

I do understand peoples concerns but its not like theyve sold Cooper, Hamer and Campbell at the first sniff. At least they are clearing some of the shit out. I will continue to reserve my judgement till the end of the window. IF we still have no replacement defenders in September then ill hold my hands up and say I was wrong and they don't have a fucking clue what they are doing.

Agree with that mate. Like I said, weve had signings come in without many knowing about it until last minute. So I'm hopeful we have a few on the radar and already deals being worked on.
I do however think if we knew robbo, rnd, anel were going to potentially leave, we should of had others lined up long before being left short. Not only that we are also down from previously having in loans, like gilchrist, holding and choudhry.
So we should of been looking at earlier signings like Birmingham.
