Mmm.
What do you expect them to say?
No decision has been reached at the moment, is apparently the truth so why do they need to say anything ?
Businesses only issue statements when they have something worthwhile to say, until then they expect any interested parties to draw their own conclusions.

If true and with only 7 weeks to KO we are in a steaming pile of poo.I'm glad discussions are going on for as long as it takes.
We’ll know today.
Is it possible to stone yourself ?
Hope the man flu is better.
There is nothing majorly different about the team from April/may to now. Regardless with what they decide the fact we have seemingly spent three weeks wasting time isn't defendable no matter what side of the fence you sit onI appreciate that. But the delay in confirming whether he stays or goes is just more delays in preparation for next season. Uncertainty as to who the manager is going to be could put off potential targets. The last two pre seasons have seen United less prepared that they could have been.
If my local Morrison's ever takes the decision not to stock Chop Sauce it will be shoes off in the car park time, and I'm not known for being radical!!!Aye
But,
I’m a (massive) fan of Morrisons own brand low salt low sugar baked beans (four pack).
Absent from the shelves since 24 May with no explanation from Morrisons HQ
Every time I go shopping theres hoards of disorientated (healthy living) customers milling around aimlessly whilst demanding action under their breath
This is compounded by them ceasing (apparently refusing) to stock ‘Hammond Chop Sauce’ again with no ‘explanation’ proffered
My disgruntlement is such that I may take my custom elsewhere. (Massive ) Asda nearby and they sell John West tuna & Chuppa Chups (separately - canned fish aisle: confectionery aisle)
Morrisons will fucking rue the day they didn’t keep me ‘informed’
Whereas the reality is you have no idea what’s been going on.There is nothing majorly different about the team from April/may to now. Regardless with what they decide the fact we have seemingly spent three weeks wasting time isn't defendable no matter what side of the fence you sit on
It makes it feel like they were resting it all on one game which is a ludicrous way to run a club.

Golf is officially designated as a board game. So the docs won't mind.Just taken last AB but left me weak as feck. Hoping to play golf on Friday, tomorrow might be a bit soon.
But don’t be surprised if I see you tomorrow int club house![]()
Our situation on the pitch was known well before the last game of the season. It's not about other clubs it's about us. Last year we saw what a bad summer window/situation can do to squad depth and quality and it yet again we are dragging our heels for no good reasonWhich other Championship teams have changed radically since May?
The race has barely started.
So the answer is none then. Our situation on the pitch was known well before the last game of the season. It's not about other clubs it's about us. Last year we saw what a bad summer window/situation can do to squad depth and quality and it yet again we are dragging our heels for no good reason
Most players don't join clubs until pre-season has started. Free transfers can't join until July 1st when their previous contracts expire, so most clubs don't announce them until then. We could have three free agents lined up which the owners agree with regardless of who is going to be manager. As with everything going on, we just don't know and speculation doesn't get you any closer to the truth. Our situation on the pitch was known well before the last game of the season. It's not about other clubs it's about us. Last year we saw what a bad summer window/situation can do to squad depth and quality and it yet again we are dragging our heels for no good reason
Cosmic ordering?!Be positive, and good things will happen.
Maybe they've just been down the pub messing about and can't be arsed deciding what to do with something they've spent months acquiring and spending millions of pounds on.we are dragging our heels for no good reason
Well one of them had what looked like a meat raffle in a local working mens club, so there is that….Which other Championship teams have changed radically since May?
The race has barely started.
We posted at the exact same timeChris Wilder: Sheffield United to sack manager after failing to earn promotion to Premier League

According to Sky Sports it will not be O'Neil to replace him.
"Within the next few days" of endless circular arguments on here...Chris Wilder: Sheffield United to sack manager after failing to earn promotion to Premier League

Watching the usual suspects shit themselves on a daily basis over loads of things that are nothing more than rumours, and often not even that, is one of the things that get us through the close season."Within the next few days" of endless circular arguments on here...![]()
What? But Rocket Man gave it the green tick....
Selles it is then, unless it's a completely left field appointment no-one saw coming, (like Rohl....)
I'm still torn on Wilder. On one hand, he deserves a second year. He overachieved & led us to arguably the best 2nd tier season in our club's history, 90 (92*) points, 28 wins. No United side has ever done that at this level before.
But then i cant ignore our record against the 3 promoted sides: Played 7, Won 1, Lost 6. That’s worrying. I get why the board might be concerned that we lost 6 games of our 7 games against "equal" opposition but the same time, when you look at potential replacements, it's hard to get excited. Apart from maybe Steve Cooper, none of the names are that inspiring.
i say he overachieved because i cant move the goalposts. i predicted us 5th last August & if didnt support sheffield united probally 8th or 9th. only have to look at luton who were miles better than us or burnley last year in premier league got relegatedI keep thinking he overachieved as well but we had the 3rd best budget in the league and finished 3rd even after being well backed in January.
