I lost my best friend to Multi System Ataxia (same as MND to laymen). Horrible way to rob people before their time, it’s not just the end result it’s the journey there that is so cruel.
RIP young Kev and condolences to his friends and family.

Yes the last 18 months have been terrible for him, hes wanted this day for a long time :(

My next door neighbour was taken by MND when I was young, horrific to see just how debilitating it was and how quickly he went from being a healthy 60 odd year old man, to being no longer with us within a year - something which may have been a blessing given how awful living with the condition is.

Sad news, RIP

I knew Kevin very well. Grew up in and around Lowedges, from the youth club to the local pubs. He was a massive Blades fan and I remember some of the scrapes with him at away matches back in the day.

Most of all Kev was a laugh and fun to be around. Never took himself seriously and was always great company.

RIP Kev.
