I honestly don't think a piece of breaking news has ever shocked me as much sat that just has. You could tell the guys on Sky Sports News could barely believe what they were reading out. I'm stunned.

The sentiment remains the same, but i did have a lot of respect for him, and who knows, he could have been under the same amount of pressure and internal turmoil when he was managing us, but never had the trigger to take his own life.

He wasn't the best manager we had, and we struggled under his management, but maybe it was a mark of the man that the fans never got at him.

I'm absolutely stunned - I didn't see Football Focus yesterday but by all accounts he was in good form. God only knows what was going on behind the scenes for it to come so tragically to this.

RIP Gary, you were a hell of a player to watch and I believe you were just starting to become a decent manager. So very sad.
