Claudio Reyna has been released by Man City.

Hardly a huge creative influence but he could sit in the middle a la McCall and pass the ball about for us which is a damned sight more than most of our "midfielders".

Get him for 3 months before he returns to the US.

The reason he's leaving is to go back to the US so why would he want to stay another 3 months??

Why would any half-decent midfielder want to sign for a team that hoofs it from defence to attack? I don't know
But surely part of Neil Warnock's job is to persuade players to come here and take up "a challenge".

Plenty of players have vowed to return to their homeland before changing their minds

True J&H, but the reason he was released from his contract was so he could move back abroad.

But i agree it would be a very decent signing

He is going back to america

He had an agreement in place with one of the MLS sides providing he could agree a release from his contract at City. He would get seriously hammered for opting out of that and I don't think he would, on record as saying he wants his family back home.
