Return for Pre-season

Can anyone tell when the players return for pre-season?
Also, event though Nige 1 announced his retained and released list, can new Nige re-jig that when the players do come back, or are there restraints on these things?

Haha, i'd guess that once a player is kept on he can't be released as he will now be under contract. However if a player is released, you could get them back by re-negotiating a contract on a free.

All the retained list means is that certain players whose contracts are due to run out this month won't be offered new deals and are free to go. I guess NA could offer the likes of Doyle a new contract if he really wanted to but in reality I don't think the lists mean anything legally and NA can still hire or fire as he wants.

He won't be able to release the likes of McEveley though will he because he has extended his contract already. Unless they want him out so bad that they pay him off.

pre season is first full week in July 6th I believe , some of the academy a week earlier
dont expect any movement of players in June

Yes that's correct. In response to NC's signings, we can't unless we pay them all off.
