Grbic our player of the season......hopefully scouts these days are lazy and just read forums to see who they should pick up on the cheap, like our old recruiting team. So I need a ton of threads saying he is too good for The Prem, couldn't have done anything with all the shots that trickled past him....wait a minute I'm sounding like Wednesdayite ...delusional, maybe they could use a fine stopper??

Top end L1 would be about his standard, doesn’t have to move family/house and we get a keeper

GK relegation clause is apparently £700k, surely Norwood worth £2-300k?

Obvs tee up the deal first, if not we’re lumbered with him and don’t think I can go through it much more

With 16 players either out of contract or haven't yet signed extensions, you wouldn't need to replace all 16 as the squad could do with being trimmed down a bit, quality over quantity.

Definate new contracts: Egan, Robinson, Bogle, Osborn, Jebbison
Sell: Anel and Souza, sell Grbic once we have a replacement
Unsure about: RND (injury), Seriki, Boyes, Amissah
Send out on loan: Buyabu, Sachdev, Freckleton, Marsh, One, Traore, Peck

I thought the same, mainly based on that cameo off the bench v Brentford at home (?) But the fact he's hardly had a kick since, even when we've been struggling for options, suggests he's either shite/not showing enough in training and Wilder simply does not fancy him

The decisions the club make on certain players will give me an indication of whether the club understands the level of rebuild required and whether they are going to have a serious go at said rebuild. I will not got to another game while Norwood is still an employee

Such a shame how it's turned out with Anel. In the Championship he looked a future world-beater but he's completely lost the plot this season.

Genuinely think we'd have been better off trying our luck converting him to a striker and playing him up front.

A number of other players also need to take a long hard look at themselves too..Archer, Souza, McAtee to name but three who have given every indication they did not really want to be here after Xmas and gave half hearted efforts at best.

I can accept players not being good enough but not trying I cannot forgive.

Diaz and O'Hare would be incredible but feels like a pipedream at present

Grbic, Souza, Anel, Slimane and Traore will be able to leave, hopefully before the end of June. Unfortunately, I think Hamer will look like decent value to a bottom half PL team at anything under £20m so he'll go too. We'll attempt to retain Bogle, Egan, McBurnie, Osborn, Jebbison.

The Star rumour last week was 8-10 new signings. I think that + retaining those 5 + selling the above + who we have left would leave an extremely thin squad with a lot of players who've become injury prone or who are coming back from long term absences
