Just reviewed a few of his postings on here and what is clear is he was a real Gentleman. Good banter and humour and required no bad language to express himself. 'Hated' no one and seemed to think that would be a waste of human spirit. Loved his footballing position to the end.
This forum will be poorer for his passing.

I'm really sad to hear this news.

Hodgyman was one of the better forum members, his contributions consistently showed that he was a very knowledgable and passionate about football and I always had an inkling that he had been heavily involved with football all his life , and he always had something interesting and worthwhile to add to the discussion.

Never met or knew the bloke but I certainly think his positive and interesting comments on here will be sorely missed

His Lordship had cancer too I believe. I'm sure this forum can be a comfort at such difficult times. Pleased for them both United upturned in their lifetime.
