Fellow blades, it is with great sadness that I inform you of the loss of a fellow blade, forum member and long standing contributor, Hodgyman.

Mick Phillips, of Maltby, died yesterday aged 68 following a long and hard battle with cancer. He leaves children and grandchildren who are too all part of the blades family.

A lifelong blade, season ticket holder and all round football man, Mick cherished the blades his whole short life. He sadly passed away in the hospice when sleeping, wearing his beloved blades scarf.

Very sad news. I always enjoyed his contributions. It's the second time this year we've lost a forum member and you never know what's going on in peoples lives until they're gone, so it's always a shock.
My condolences to all personally affected by his passing.
