Watching the game yesterday I was really pleased for Hecky. It was a game of two halves but in both halves there were some really bright points that suggest we could have a good season.
Anel and Clark look a great fit at the back and give us great forward momentum.
Illiman continues to grow and look like a proper baller.
Sander is quality and combined with Anel scared the life out of their defence.
Flecky had a good game, great determination and vision to assist Sander.
Norwood despite his critics did okay, probably we should put Sander on Pens now.
Brewster is back and will grow, showed what he can do in making the pen.
That's just a few. And we have 3more new boys to blend into an already good looking side.
The point of the thread is to say can we stop the childish name calling and abuse of our own players and managers and treat them with respect.
There are certain posters including one who insists on posting his team each week who seem to delight in name calling and insults of OUR club.
This week we were told what a poor manager we have and he gets the witty nickname of the Barnsley Pep. That was why I enjoyed yesterday so much, he shoved that one right back where it belongs.
Fleck and Norwood have been amazing servants of this club along with Stevens. Discuss their weaknesses but let's cut out the pathetic insults, they don't deserve it.
I will also include the Prince in this. Under previous boards Sander and Illiman would have been sold and there is no way we would have pushed the boat our for Anel. Good on him.
