Great reply St... But was he really the best player in the league? He wasn't even voted our best player ........ a fantastic season for Gus but the votes get cast in late Feb. He is happy with us and we are really happy with him.

Think Gus is a weird one.

He’s rarely ran games like Illeman N’Diaye did.
In fact in general his performances are consistently underwhelming for us. Last season he has spells where he hardly saw the ball.

However we’ve seen how he can be doing little…then he’ll produce a killer pass to create a goal or score a fantastic goal from nothing.

My point is….to say he’s our best player (which he is)…he’s been the least influential best player we’ve had in decades.
