Pete's actually only said he's incapable of playing consecutive games.
Pete bases this on fact.
Pete does not base this on what Nigel didn't say in a one minute interview.
So as an example: Messi is fit enough to play for Barcelona in their next game. Let's say he won't be available the game after. You wouldn't play him?

Really?

Example: You've got 20 fit players. 11 can start. Regardless of how bad they might be, you always want the other 9 to be playing barring some sort of a fall out.

..but the other 9 won't be playing..in fact Kennedy is nowhere near the other 9 who won't be playing even..

Is Adkins lying to you?

Are you deliberately trying not to understand my post or are you really that unbelievable?

Every manager wants all their fit players playing. 11 is the limit for the field of play, unfortunately.

Kennedy has *never* played regular football so your ridiculous comparison is exactly that, ridiculous.

If 'Messi' was unlikely to be able to finish a game of football, then 'Messi' wouldn't be playing.

Lol...I think you're not understanding my question.
You want Kennedy playing ( despite not rating him)

Adkins says he wants Kennedy playing.

What do you think is the reason Adkins isn't playing him?

Have a think...

Why didn't you answer the question?

Because it was a ridiculous comparison. Comparing whether to play the world's best player against playing an average league one defender who has never properly played a run of games to prove what kind of player he can be.

Why didn't you answer the question about how you know what Adkins has said in previous interviews when you claim never to listen to them?

Because I've listened to enough of them to know that if he was injured, he'd have detailed it.

Now then, back to your question...despite what you call a ridiculous comparison, you wouldn't play him then?

Why didn't you answer the question?

If you have the best player in the world who can create something out of nothing on his own then of course you play him if you can and manage his fitness.

However there are two big points, he is an attacking player and he is of unbelievable quality who wins games on his own.

Kennedy is neither. Has a defensive unit you do not want to chop and change it all the time as you need them to know each others games along with the 'keeper. It was one of Clough's problems last season.

It is a positive that Adkins is not playing crocks and is trying to find a more settled XI - yet you still try to turn it into a negative? And back up your view with crazy hypothetical situations involving the best player in history?

That comeback and last minute winner really has had you scraping the barrell this week Barn. Must try harder.

Your question's been answered in my post above - #125. If you had any nous about you you'd have known that.

I wouldn't play the world's best player or I wouldn't play an average league one defender who has never been fit?

Even someone with your failure to grasp basic logic can understand why it's an irrelevant comparison, surely?

No it hasn't.
You flounced..as per...

Ok, so let's assume Kennedy is 'fit'
Why do you think Adkins isn't starting him?

It doesn't have to be Messi. That was an example, it could be any player best in his position for the club he's at. So I'll rephrase the question: A player is fit, he's the best in his position at a particular football club. He's fit and available for one game. He isn't for the next, you wouldn't play him in the first game?

But we've no idea that Kennedy is fit.
The only person to think this is you, and this opinion is based on evidence so flimsy, it would disintegrate when you touched it.

And Adkins not detailing the injury, and seemingly cagily avoiding it could suggest otherwise.
Indeed it could. It could suggest he doesn't rate him against what he presently has and/or what he intends to have.

Precisely. And I'm saying that's bizarre and unbelievable when he's the best centre back at the club.
