Cranie should stay another year

Am I the only one who feels a tad emotional that Cranie's been released? I expected Coutts to be released because he's hardly played and we knew that he would want to play more, as he stated in an article not long ago., I know Cranes would also want to play more, but I'm sure he would have stayed if offered a deal and I really feel for him, and that's no dig at Wilder.

Wonderwall came on the radio today and I belted it up in my car journey home from Grimsby in tribute to Cranes! He did a really important fill in during the second half of the season and since we've gone up it's clear to see from the celebrations that he's a real character and I just wish him all the best like we've all said really.

Leon Clarke, Jake Wright, Ched Evans, Samir Carruthers, Nathan Thomas, Ben Heneghan and Ricky Holmes have all been placed on the transfer list, despite still being under contract.

When's their deals run out? Can see them all going out on loan this season instead of perms

The only reason I’d keep Heneghan on the books is to play him in Cup matches when we need to rest first teamers.
