Let’s just trust the manager, eh?

I have s hunch that he’s better at it than us.

What don't you get about me clearly stating an opinion which is exactly why this forum exists.
My opinion is Lundstram is crap.
Suck it up.

A bit poor to be honest. Ditzy not holding the ball up, it keeps just bouncing off him out of play or straight to the oposition. Lunny and Norwood together not working, Hendersons kicking abit shit. We need some subs on to hopfully spark us to life. They are getting way too much posession, mainly because we keep giving it to them.

we look well off the pace... even for a friendly.

Didsy working hard off the ball
Robbo getting into some good positions.
Fleck and Norwoord looking invisible
Lundstram losing the ball every time touches it and then letting opposition walk past him when defending

Dont look prem quality right now, not even Championship lol. (and yes I know its a friendly) but its our last friendly when things should be looking sharp and clicking into place.
We’ve been brilliant in the last 3 preseasons but we’ve started each season off crap before turning it around, so win lose or draw let’s not give this game too much credence. It is what it is, a friendly.

Good start, great goal. Quality opposition at last. They finished 8th in Ligue 1 and beat PSG last year. They are pacy and pressing us all over the pitch. We've been second best since they made it 1-1. Number 13 for them causing problems down our right.

3-5-1-1 not working again. Hardly suprising. Midfield too deep and getting in each others way. 3-6-1 at times when Mcg drops deep. Having to resort to long balls, not working we need to get back to our preferred formation 3-1-4-2.

That’s the point, isn’t it? I can’t believe how some people’s emotions spill over based on trial games.

“Let’s get Long back”. Fucking clowns.

There are a good proportion of fans who recognised that Monty was integral in the team that was promoted to the premier league.

There's a good proportion of fans who used to shout "fucking hell, Monty" when he'd miscontrol it, give the ball away or basically run about achieving next to fucking nowt in the middle of the park. A bit like Lunny. He started last season against Middlesbrough and was dismally crap, IIRC.He's had nowt but cameo appearances in the intervening twelve months and hasn't much torn trees up.

3-4-1-2*

On this showing chris will certainly be bringing in a midfielder or 2

I don’t think he’ll start - I suspect he’ll have cameos for specific roles, and we’ll get another midfielder in.

But if for whatever reason Wilder thinks he’s good enough based on a new formation, I’d trust him over the burger flippers on here.

McBurnie on, Osborn on.

Osborn for Bryan, Stevens moving to LCB?

McB for McG

I think our recruitment has been good. However I'm hoping the management team stick to their guns and style.of football from last season. Duffy was integral to that, if hes out of favour his replacement, be that Freeman or Ravel, IMHO should be in the team.

Obviously the management team know better than any of us but I'd have Duffy in over Lundstram any day of.the week. If we need Lundstram to shore up midfield it would Fleck who makes way for.me.

With the sounds of it all the team are playing shite yet Lundstram is the one getting all the stick.

The one thing I’ll give him is when he plays shit at least he runs around and puts a shift in, whereas when Norwood and fleck play shit they may as well be sat in the kop

The French guy on the stream thinks Robinson is good.

Also we've just conceded again.

Stevens has gone inside to LCB, LoughboroBlade 's hunch was correct I think, JOC out for Bournemouth I reckon.

Goal looked similar to the one we conceded against Barnsley.
