Seems like we're being pro active and planning for the inevitable when Berge leaves rather than scramble around looking for replacements which is normally the case.

Can't see how N'Diaye, Berge, Lawrence and Khedra all fit in especially with Billy and Brewster to play as a striker, and I also can't see us getting these players in to bulk the bench out.
Berge isn’t leaving.

To fan the flames more - assumption from Brighton fans that he's not good enough to get in ahead of their wingers, which they have a few of. So likelihood is he's off this summer.

IF we sign him, I think it’ll be a signing rather than loan as he’s out of contract in the summer I think, and he will be on the bench to start with. I don’t think he’ll be linked to Berge doing anything as he’s very much still in the rough.

Too many good players is a problem I would like us to have

Without getting into the weeds re formations and playing positions etc, perhaps these players we're being linked with won't have anything to do with Berge staying/leaving, perhaps we're just trying to develop a really good squad.

Didn't he [Davis] get about 1 in 3 for forest before getting injured?
I didn't realise Keinan Davis scored 5 in 15 for Forest which is a solid record. However, those goals came against Barnsley (24th), Reading x2 (20th), Birmingham (19th) and Cardiff (18th) which would suggest that he's a bit of a flat-track bully. He's size and strength means he can cause havoc and he's got a great ability to dribble at speed but I don't think he's a reliable goal threat.

It's his first ever run of first team games. He was improving in front of goal prior to his injury.
I think given a run of games he'd get the goals we needed. If not, play him with Brewster / Sharp and let them do the 6 yard stuff.

He scared the shit out of me when he came on against us and got the ball.

I’m not sure who from these players linked are genuine targets but Khadra and Anel certainly fit the profile told to us last season about permanent signings. Younger players who are potentially under valued that we can develop and sell on at a significant profit. That’s the model we’re supposed to be working to and these kids fit it perfectly.

Agreed, but the majority of that was around the halfway line because we managed his threat well. The closest comparison I can think of is Emile Heskey but on the limited view I've had he's better technically than Heskey was.

I was just about to make the Heskey comparison myself. I would definitely take him however.

I reckon sunjihi is on the money. It’s Davis
You think it’s either or?
You’d think Davis would be a loan whereas Kharda would most likely be perm and he’d fit the profile of players we’d look to sign.

I think it’s Davis and the obvious player Lawrence

But if true that Rangers have now entered the race for Lawrence then plan B could well be the two you mention Davis and Khadra

As long as the club get the targets they’ve short listed, I’m happy Bob
