Agree about Leeds. Very over rated.

I feel and share your pain about the blunts.

They've gone from having a team of players who I wouldn't have
swapped one of ours for theirs t having a few who I would.
Are Westwood, Lees, Bannan, Reach, Fletcher etc really better than
Moore, Oconnell, Coutts, Fleck, Brooks etc?

We need Fessi firing on all cylinders when he returns.

One of the few who has genuine talent. Also give young Hirsty a chance.
Plenty of time left this season.

No they are not

No....no it’s not kicking in.

Hirsty will not play for the club and will leave for greener pastures.

But credit to the one or two that have broken free of the mind bending drugs to realise what’s hitting them in the face....that being that we have a fair few very good players. It matters not where they came from, they are still very good players.

Hirsty is their saviour, like Diego was going to be for us...

Hmmm that reliable team player Forestieri whose handed inmore transfer requests than goals he's scored .. if the pigs are struggling near January he'll be saying his ta-ra's .. only thing thing might help them is I think clueless carvahal is on borrowed time

Check out the thread 'None of the Top 7' where the OP suggests that none of us in there will be by the end of the season. After a few cheerleaders backed the assertion some of the more sensible ones have now brought a sense of reality to proceedings.

"United will fall away, rest I'm not sure but Ipswich may struggle to hold out pace"

"Cant understand why people are so confident about this. They have a squad who are willing to put themselves on the line for a very capable Manager. As well as some decent footballers. They are winning home games and picking wins up away. They’ve got the momentum from last season"

"Confident is the wrong word. You know why people try to convince themselves that United will fall away, don't you? A nightmare scenario is playing out for many Wednesday fans after lording it upm. since the "mind the gap" season. The same fans that are trying to grasp at any straw that it cannot happen but underneath the same fans know it can.By hook or by crook, they have managed to latch onto a manager that is exactly right for them and one that possesses a good deal of nous.

It's a tale of two managers/coaches now, one that can make Leon Clarke look like Harry Kane and one that makes Jordan Rhodes look like the most ineffectual, powder puff striker to ever play the game, one manager that spends practically nothing on lower league unknowns and gets them playing like Barcelona and one that spends tens of millions on players that cannot get into the first team"

Hirst is not being allowed to train with his peers, allegedly. He's been banished to train with the U18s although he is now over that age (according to an angry Wendy). Didn't they do the same to Lavery?
Yeah they did, its a strange situation as the kid is an obvious talent.

Rumour is that David Hirst has fallen out with the 1st team coaching side of things. Local rivalry aside, these two factors are not good for the club.

This one gets it
"
Of course United's fantastic start to the season piles the pressure on us/Carlos/DC. And the posters claiming to not give a bobbar about United are, once again, showing extreme delusion. If they were at the bottom of the league they'd be all over it. Their current success is a massive kick in the nuts for us and to state otherwise is ridiculous, especially when that success has included a severe humbling of us on our patch. The fact that United's squad probably cost less to assemble than we are paying Abdi per annum makes it all the more galling...and embarrassing.

The one I really liked pre-season was....."they will get less points than Rotherham did".........only 2 points off their entire season total after 10 games!

Bit odd how he mentions Moore considering he hasn't even played yet this season due to injury. Westwood is still a top keeper he's just having a bad spell at the minute from what i've heard, the others i agree with though. Bannan is overrated imo. Take Fleck over him any day.

they have all convinced themselves last season was a pure fluke, we were very lucky to get 100 points and get promoted a month early
we hit a purpe patch that the close season would bring to an abrupt end
worse still they convinced themselves there was a huge gulf between league one and the championship

but clearly there isnt

There clearly is a large gulf between the 1st and the Championship as Bolton are discovering what they failed to see was the gulf between us and the rest of League 1 last season. Some pig on football heaven last night going on about it's only a game. That's not what he would have said had the result reversed, they really wanted to lord it further over us and instead having to live with the total humiliation of what Jim Phipps has just tweeted #bouncingdaymassacre.
