I’m still absolutely buzzing.

1)
We lost our last two games away at Liverpool and Man City - two of the best teams in the world for the last few years - not Cardiff and Hull at home...

2)
Despite the above we are still 8th in the PL, with still a positive goal difference and still only one or two points away from Europe! Outrageous!

3)
We must be the only team in the league that has played both City & Liverpool twice already.

4)
Our goal was always to finish above 18th this season. We’re still on course to overshoot that. 45-50 points is a realistic target and I’m so happy to be typing that sentence.

I’d be far more concerned as a Newcastle fan now, despite their points total so far.

Onwards and upwards Blades fans!

100% agree with OP
last night was a step too far against the best team in the world right now , - fair play to Klopp and co, he has a team of fantastic players working their bo##ocks off for every second of the games and playing great football

still an incredible season so far and i'm sure it will continue

We wont play the world champions in the league again this season, so they can take points off our rivals instead, ( over 2 legs we lost 3 nil on aggregate, a lot better than I thought back in July) we play a cup game next which wilder said he would rest the first team so they will all be fresher for the west ham game, we go again, things are still rosy

We haven’t had any bad injuries. Plenty of clubs have suffered over the Christmas period, we’ve negotiated it well. Top marks for our fitness and conditioning staff.
