Reading match live feed

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?

Can I just remind about the posting of feeds...


Please refrain from posting any streams on the forum. We've already had a number of run ins with Football DataCo over a number of issues and the MD was more than happy to take us to court for a test case regarding using anagrams to display fixtures.... Somehow I think linking to streams is a bit more clear cut.

Incidentally, we do have a private message facility should you wish to message anyone regarding anything ;)

Not wishing to push your buttons Foxy ;) but

does the same apply to Satellite Feeds, for example the Blades Game on Saturday is being shown on 2 Sats at the moment, this will probably increase to 5 or 6.

Is that info also verbotten ?

If it is just information as to which Sat's it is broadcast on, that is absolutely fine... In fact I often produce that information on here myself :)

If it's any link to streaming the feed/watching it via any other method than the legal ways, then it's out i'm afraid.

It's not something I would particularly want to stop, but it isn't worth the risk of attracting further threats of legal action as I'm sure you can all understand :)

It all sounds a bit mental to me. I know the relevant leagues and TV companies have to protect their interests but its clear that we live in a police state (blah blah blah) if we can't even post that theres a stream online.

If its THAT illegal, surely they should be punishing the illegal "evil" streamer websites instead of the Forum!

All we want to do is watch games that we probably wouldn't go to anyway!

Yeah, but unfortunately, the Football League and Premier League are keen to protect their rights and as such, we can't be seen to be promoting materials which contravenes their rights.

We know that you can watch football on streams, but we can't let you share them I'm afraid... it all comes back to Foxy and our hosts should anyone complain.

Yeah I totally understand the Forum's point of view... it was just a little rant against the so called powers of football.

In a way I just wish that this Fifa/Uefa/FA/PL/FL bubble would burst and we could watch footy in peace...
 
Does anyone actually have faith it will work though? The page says 'links to follow' which makes me think that they know it is being broadcasted somewhere but it is up to someone to actually 'upload' the game onto the web somewhere.
 

Could I just also mention, that people publicly asking for the link to be sent to them isn't a million miles away from just publically broadcasting the link :)

Would prefer if any requests of this nature were kept to private message rather than threads full of "please can I also be sent that link to a stream that shouldn't be posted?" :)

...and for anyone without the internet :rolleyes: it will be the main featured game on Saturday night's Football league show on BBC1.
 
I cant believe that anyone would willingly want to take away any monies that would be earnt by the tv companies by watching Illegaly streamed web based TV ;) ;) ;)
