Please. No!

John Devlin the kit guru and Cardiacs fan, I should add. We were both there when Cardiacs played at Rayleigh Pink Toothbrush in 1988.The colour on the version they had was wrong of the chevron one.
I agreed with certain choices but not that one. Also the brown and yellow is a classic for me - I also like the yellow with red and white blocks late 80's
Not a fan of the promotion one we wore at Northampton - only think it is liked due to the memories
Not sure any other luminous one should be that near the top- various copies including one we wore recently are decent but just copying a fantastic original but not as well
I do like both this years change kits so rightly these are high up

The badge was designed by Jimmy Hagan. Arguably our greatest ever player.
It was introduced during the reign of Jimmy Sirrill as manager though but the design was Hagan's.
The best I can do at short notice, but this at least proves that the design was in existence on 1958.I will bow to your greater knowledge, I was told it was Sirrel and then checked it on wikipedia (not always reliable) and it states: "Sirrel is the designer of the present Sheffield United club badge. Up until Sirrel's tenure in charge at Bramall Lane, the Blades used Sheffield's coat of arms. This was until Sheffield City Council copyrighted it, forcing the Blades to look elsewhere for a badge. Sirrel sat down and designed the badge that is still used today."

I made other errors on that video too but that's the risk of live broadcasting.

I noticed the name skulking around in Cardiacs' Facebook Group so I DM'd him saying, "I enjoyed your contributions to The Tufty Club kits podcast" before going on to moan that the yellow with black chevrons wasn't voted number 1 of all time ever ever ever.If you’re going to hijack the thread, at least link to the right thing:

Didn’t realise he was well into his music as well. We were on our best “no tangents” behaviour for the podcast that night; would have relaxed into the usual bullshit a bit more if I knew he might have welcomed one of our music-based sidetracks.
You and Nick do a cracking job by the way. Very much enjoying your content so am not nitpicking for the sake of it.I will bow to your greater knowledge, I was told it was Sirrel and then checked it on wikipedia (not always reliable) and it states: "Sirrel is the designer of the present Sheffield United club badge.
