Swan Morton would be better and it’s a Sheffield firm.Perfect sponsor would be Wilkinson Sword. I wonder whether there's ever been any discussions in the past.

Embroiled in shenanigans. Might need a new Main Sponsor
Fucking hate them things.Or how about that company that make the tins of travel sweets with icing sugar on, those ones that old people have in their cars?
Thanks mateFucking hate them things.
The sweets, not old people.
New sponsor? What about the company that pays plastic Carol to sell equity release schemes to guillible pensioners.
Think you will get your wish for the colour of the away shirt.Sheffield Forgemasters !
Forged in steel
They get my vote now it’s minted , would also be good if the away kit is steel grey !
As ever UTB !!
And debt consolidation loans at stupid APRs.New sponsor? What about the company that pays plastic Carol to sell equity release schemes to guillible pensioners.
That would sting the other lot, being based in S6.Swan Morton would be better and it’s a Sheffield firm.
Bit like many owners really. Associating your name / brand with something known and hopefully respected brushes off - at least for a while!2 disgraced sponsor ships in a row things you love to see. still better than that horrible nonsense on their new shirt
Local businesses will pay peanuts though, hence why it’s better to take the dirty money from a global brand.Personally I would like a more ethical approach to sponsors if it isn't a local company, which would make sense due to the decline in manufacturing, Laver can't exactly afford a multi-million £ deal these days. You do have a few steel manufacturers/distribution that could potentially back a merged deal independently similar to the VisitYorkshire.com brand but with Business Sheffield.
Although the one Sheffield "arm" based company I would love to see is Boeing, funded from their head office in the US could easily afford it, plus they are hitting a captive marketplace for promoting their apprenticeships in Sheffield plus their wider brand broadcasted worldwide to the millions that watch the Premier League.
I swear our commercial team will stick anything on the front of our shirts if you false promise a few quidNew sponsor? What about the company that pays plastic Carol to sell equity release schemes to guillible pensioners.
