He was ok, the win was more down to the defence than him as they hardly gave Man U a chance in front of goal.

Some good positives with how he claimed the ball but still dropped one and on another day the ref wouldn’t have come to his rescue.

Don’t want to knock him too much cause it’s a good win, but I think the result is clouding some people’s judgement on how good he was. A 6 or 7 out of 10 for me, like I say he was ok.

I really don't like that unearned arrogance, it was fine when Henderson did it because his performances earned him some well deserved cockiness. Ramsdale is the worst keeper in the league and seeing him act cocky after catching a simple ball looks a bit stupid. He needs to "do it" first then he can shithouse who he wants

I didn’t understand it in the slightest, there was no need for it unless there’d been some needle earlier in the game. I imagine that they’re pals but still, I think Maguire has more to smile about in general! Funny nonetheless.

For me, got away with one with the disallowed goal. Personally, think he should have been slightly more to his left for Maguires goal and given himself a better chance.

Second half, he grew. There's a goalie in there, but he needs to believe it himself.

Surely not a day to slag the lad off. His cockyness towards the end is a sign he was getting his confidence back and that can only be a good thing for all of us.Well played lad.

The result always makes people see things differently, it's inevitable. That wasn't a great performance again for me though, he still did his standard fumble, which resulted in a perfectly good goal. He also came charging out in to no man's land when Greenwood went through in the first half, it was lucky Bryan had got back with him or he had an open net. Fair play to the lad though, he took the pressure off several times at the end with some good claims. He should be doing that a lot more.

Grew in confidence throughout the game and helped us out massively claiming those two high balls near the end. Also thought he did really well to catch that free kick by his feet, The ball landing so close to him it was certainly not an easy thing to catch and quite a few goalkeepers would probably have parried it away so he showed great confidence and ability there.

I'm not slagging him I just think he should concentrate on getting the basics right before getting cocky about catching a simple cross. He did the same to Carroll against Newcastle and it came across a bit undeserved "big time Charlie"

Thing is Chabs, keepers don't need to be strong in today's game because they get so much protection. I agree that the contact from Maguire was slight but disagree about the foul because, if you watch Maguire, he looks where Ramsdale is before moving towards and jumping towards him even with his eyes on the ball. He knew what he was doing and that was simply to do enough to affect Ramsdale catching the ball in the air.

He was poor again last night, got away with the disallowed goal, and his general stance and positioning looked awful.

He seems to cover hardly any ground when he dives.

We’ve got to be really concerned about this position. He needs a spell out if the team, and our backups must be awful for them to not get a chance.

A much better performance and I hope he felt pleased last night.

If we're nit-picking, there were still moments - racing out against Greenwood and if you watch the slo-mo reply of the early Rashford chance past the post, his dive is very delayed and he was nowhere near.

But, I suspect we could pick points of any of the other 11 on the field, if they were getting so much scrutiny.

It's a step in the right direction, well done lad.

Thought there were some encouraging signs last night, nothing spectacular but moments were he started looking a bit more confident. There haven't been too many positive moments for him this season so happy to take small improvements at the moment. Thought he was the better of the two keepers on the pitch as well, De Gea was badly at fault for both goals.

More than anything, I'm pleased for him personally. He must've been buzzing after the match.

I don’t think the case is being put forward that he’s now fixed and is a super keeper, just that the knee jerk comments and writing his whole career with us off we’re premature.
Interesting point about the solid defence making a difference. Pretty much exactly what those who have been defending him have said in that we’ve not give him the chance to build his confidence and they’ve been doing him no favours.

A confidence boost for him can only be a good thing. He’s looked short of it recently and it’s been effecting his form imo.

we have to hope he can come back to playing like he did last season for Bournemouth. He was a serviceable PL keeper for them with room to improve at a minimum, so far it’s been a baptism of fire here.

so he needs to plug away and comeback stronger and hopefully that’s what he does.
