Ramsdale

I wouldn't say he was faultless today, the goal wasn't perfect and he did fumble one that he collected low down. Much more reassuring though, and that save at the end was top, top drawer.
So Ramsdale get faulted for their shit show of a goal before it got near Ramsdale ? ffs !

Couldnt ask anymore from him today looked confident along with some really good saves.the lads coming good

So we're just going to ignore his dodgy positioning and awful distribution because he made a few routine saves today? Right, okay then 😬

He's facing some of the best footballers in the world, it's not like he's facing Coventry, is it?..................

Always been a good shotstopper it’s the other major attributes that are lacking, what I will say though, he’s got a better kick than Hendo

Hahahahahhahahahahah fuck off, now I know you’re taking the piss.

Top class striker one on one, he stands big and shows great reflexes to get a really strong hand to it.

Anyone who disagrees with this is either joking or knows nothing about football. It was a brilliant save.

Their striker opens up his body too much and makes it easy to read, then sidefoots it at a decent height. If Ramsdale let that in you'd be very disappointed. He stood up and read it well, you know, like a decent keeper should.

No YOU WOULD be very disappointed. It’s one thing reading it but it’s a completely different thing reacting quick enough to get there. Look at how much power he’s hit with from that distance.

So you consider making routine saves but having consistently poor distribution a "good performance"?
Today's performance wasn't flawless, however when the bottom team is playing the top team, (and to only lose1-0) for the goaly to have, what was is generally accepted by the majority of fans as a good game, your obsession with 'poor distribution' comes across as nit picking. Today's aim was to avoid a drubbing, whilst putting in a credible afford to try and get something from the game, however daunting this may have been. Better distribution from the goaly would not not have been high on the pre-match agenda I can assure you, making goal stopping saves however? I'll leave that with you....

I’ve been one of Ramsdale’s biggest critics but I can recognise and give him credit for not only showing improvement but having a good game.

Obviously you’re not capable of that so perhaps you’d be best to keep quiet until u can gain a bit of perspective.

Because trust me, you’re making yourself look a bit of a dick now and nobody will take anything u say seriously going forward.

Surely if his distribution is better, we have a better chance of winning/retaining possession further up the pitch, which in turn gives us a better chance of getting something out of the game?

If you repeatedly kick the ball to their defenders/keeper in acres of space they will just keep possession easily making it harder for us to get anything out of the game.
