Eddie Howe wanted jack Butland as first team goal keeper before the start of last season. Bournemouth offered £12m, Stoke wanted £20m and the early closure of the transfer window in summer 2019 led to no transfer. Ramsdale promoted to 1st team goal keeper. Bournemouth would have stayed up with Butland (IMHO)

There's potentially a very good keeper in there. Makes some excellent saves. Could go to the very top, could end up a middling championship keeper.

Sadly confidence shattered at the moment, making latter seem more likely. Playing behind a cack back line so horribly exposed, but also making individual errors.

Recruitment wise an unnecessary gamble in a key position, GK isn't the place to develop a player.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but everyone can see a safe pair of hands and experienced head for a season would have been wiser.

Whether he will or not, probably needs taking out of the team for a few games to get his head right. No doubt will get dogs abuse online by the brain dead amongst our fans.

Agree he was to blame for the 3rd but look where the goal comes from. Stevens throws it straight to their player. If he throws it to one of our players the goal isn't conceded.

I know how you feel I did the same and then about game 8/9 mine changed as well. There's only so long you can give him the benefit of the doubt. He does make some good saves , but then some awful errors. It's like he's trying to catch an eel with a tub of vaseline on his hands.

The game he missed was Watford at home they lost 3-0 so thats 67 goals he conceded
