Going by Nixon's twitter. If a deal is close I can't see him travelling to WBA tonight.

Would rather cash in on Ramsdale than Berge.

GKs are easier to replace and he's probably at his ceiling for valuation, whereas Berge should get better and higher
Agreed partly, the last bit would require some decent performances though.

Arsenal aren't in a rush, and supposedly in the middle multiple ongoing 'discussions' if Odegaard is signed, Ramsdale/ Maddison next?
Yep, the only reason they have now agreed to sign Odegaard surely means Rammers is all done and dusted, that was one of the only few ways they could sign him.

Berge is quality for me but he's trying to do it all alone. Him, Egan and Didzy are literally carrying us.

If we could get back to some kind of form, Berge will be the best midfielder we've ever had.

All IMO obviously

When Berge is on it, he looks a couple of divisions clear, like Bash looked when he got brought on against Fylde.

Unpopular opinion alert.....its right to sell him. He had a blinder late part of last season, but IMO he's not that good. Take the money. The view from Arsenals bench is great btw.

I think it’s right to sell him to ensure some financial stability and enable squad changes.

I think he probably is very good, but he’s young and has just had an up and down season. If the down part turns out to be the norm, his fee becomes a huge sunk cost we can’t afford.

The inability to replace Paddy Kenny eventually saw us relegated and stuck in the third tier. I know that’s a simplification, but who thinks we could have stopped up with a class goalie? And who thinks Moore was key to promotion? I do on both counts.

Much as I am a fan, he has got a long long way to go to get above quite a few midfielders that have donned the red & white stripes mate.
