What's the point? Just release him.

If you don't trust him enough to start over a left back who's shown he's wank in centre midfield (not his fault, he's not a midfielder) there's literally no point him being in the squad.

Tonight was prime sink or swim material, with Souza on hand to come off the bench if he was really, really struggling.
He talked him up after his performance against Cardiff for seemingly no reason.

Not to mention him and Peck will already have a relationship from the 21's.

It's a laughable decision.

I don't get Wilder's though process sometimes. I really did think he would start Blacker and if it was going a bit wrong get Vini on but to start Burrows again in midfield was suicide.

This thread has turned a bit toxic but agree with the OP in that Blacker is a better option than Burrows or Brewster in CM. As a compromised could use him to rest Peck and not have too many inexperienced players playing which seems to worry quite a few

OK. I'd just assumed he was one of our Elite Significant Contribution slots. Players can't be loaned out from those can they? Post Brexit I mean.
