Not in Arsenal Starting Team

Henderson also a Splinters Gatherer

Move for money, get sidlined

Bad Choice

Ramsdale is on a 'career path', he won't be concerned about how many minutes he's getting until this time next year.

Henderson is a different kettle of fish. That new contract has trapped him, his time to take the shirt off De Gea has come and gone. MUFC won't sell to a competitive rival and he's too expensive (and very poor value) for any club below the top 6. It's a shame because he's a good enough keeper to be playing every week, but all parties have sleep-walked into the situation they now find themselves in.

Hendo was going to start the season as their number 1 it was widely reported, before his long covid symptoms

Terrible move apart from the money for Ramsdale Areta sacked in a few weeks New foreign manager brings in new foreign keeper

I don’t begrudge him the move because he will be set for life now but it won’t be a good move for his career, he will barely get any minutes and will stagnate as a keeper.

Glttl though!

Good to see Arsenal lose though, I can’t stand the club.

I'd like £50,000 - £60,000 a week for doing nowt

Of course we can't pay decent wages, just £20,000 - £30,000 on 15 shit players that have no sell on value, but at least we don't waste owt.

I wasn't aware of that, happy to stand corrected.

Timing seems odd, De Gea will never be the keeper he was but has come out of the form that saw him make mistakes every week.

Arguably that traps both of them then. Two keepers on huge wages who both want to be first choice, and neither have any real options to move elsewhere.

Good luck to Henderson if he gets the shirt, although I doubt he'll ever be the keeper he thinks he is. Very difficult to improve footwork skills at his age and no amount of bravado and badge kissing keeps goal kicks on the pitch.

Maybe a controversial opinion but I don't think he was any better on the day he left us after the two year loans than on the day he first joined us.

We could see this coming but all it takes for more poor from De Gea and he is back in.

He really does need to be playing week in week out though. Being chucked in randomly here and there isn't enough and it means he won't be pushing Pickford for that England shirt.

He was at the lane yesterday, so obviously still has an attachment to us

no hes gone now both his and the clubs combined decision and leno pulled off a worldy today to put that header from lukaku on to the crossbar so thats not good for him agree with another poster arteta will be gone by the end of september and it doesnt get any easier for him next week at the ethiad

Only signed midweek, was never going to be playing today. Can't begrudge him moving to double his wages and he has half a chance at starting some games because Leno is wank

Hopefully get his hattrick of relegation but suspect they will sack Arteta before he can take them under

a continental

The hull fans proper warmed my cockles it’s always weirdly nice to know someone hates you even though you pay them no mind

Yeah because being 2nd bottom in championship is so much better
Currently Man C 4-0 Asenal
Leno obviously playing a blinder
Arsenal are second bottom 0 goal for 8 against
And still Aaron gathers splintters

I’m not against him looking at the big pay cheque, I just think he’s doing his prospects no good
