Evening all.

Tomorrow will be the first game I've been into a while. We used to drink at the sheaf view but I've got our young un with me tomorrow so I don't want to be too far from the ground. Which pubs can anyone recommend that are decent.

Nothing compares to the Sheaf View in terms of price or quality... but depends on what you are after?

The Railway has improved big time ale wise, but it's only very small and poorly laid out.

Part timer ;-)

Cremorne. Albion. Beer Engine. Sentinal Brewery.

Bit further away but Green Room do a nice cheap breakfast and do good Guinness. Dev Cat worth popping into too.

The Stags Head is usually a decent place to stop off for a drink on the way to the match. Family friendly and they have been doing a 15% discount on food and drinks for fans with a match day ticket.

Although if you want somewhere nearer the ground then The Beer Engine is pretty decent. The Clubhouse is good as well but usually packed out, well if last Saturday was anything to go by.

Funnily enough wewere thinking at starting in The Stag tomorrow!

If you see someone struggling to contain a 5 year old and a Cardiff season ticket holder wittering about Warnock, come and say Hi!!

I may just do that. I am hoping to stop off their for some food at some point before the match.

I'm bringing a headache. (shit wine and cinzano if you ask). I will be in the Brothers where there are two large beer gardens which are child friendly unless it snows.

Mate, I'm sat up with aforementioned Cardiff season ticket holder, drinking red wine and watching Inbetweeners on Box Set... Going to rough as in the morning!

We always pop into the Lord Nelson before the game - good selection of real ale and good atmosphere.

I note the place we meet isn't there Mr F it's unbelievable what's happened at the Golden Lion. See you later.

A few of us went in the Royal Standard pre match last Saturday, rammed inside but a big outside area at the back with lots of tables and chairs and only 5 minutes to the Kop.
