Project Restart - Hoping for 8th June

If I die and go to heaven, and God tells me that indeed our name was on the Cup in 2020, but alas, Coronavirus put paid to our success, I'm going to be pretty annoyed.

we could play the FA cup as a pre season tournament, there's only 7 games
quarters one sat/ sun semis tues and weds and final on a sunday

draw out the 2 quarters sat and they play tues and the 2 on Sunday on a weds

its good practice for going away in Europe if the players are kept away from their families,
but really , how many families of all the shop assistants that are staffing our supermarkets get the medical back up these footballers will get

whos to say one of the footballers that refuse to play get a family member visit to watch his team play without him then get covid off that relation

all of life is a risk,,,,, that's why you should enjoy it
they all drive around in super fast super cars ,,,, they don't seem to worry about that
 
If players refuse to play then they should forfeit their salary.

If teams refuse to play then for every game they miss, the opp team should be awarded a 3-0 win.

If the govt say it's safe to play football and the players are regularly tested them there's no excuse for not playing the games.

No that is not what was said, you have tried to change the argument so that you can try and take a moral victory. However I've called you out, so not only was your original argument flawed and defeated (which by trying to change it you have admitted), you are being exposed as a sandbagger.

Why 28? Why not 19? Why not 5 or 10?

However it's done, someone will have an issue with it.

But unfortunately "points per game" is done exactly as it sounds. Just because we've played a game less doesn't mean we can moan if we miss out.

We have had one chance less than the others around us to collect points, its not fair, and I would moan .......

So when would be the fairest point to decide?

If it's unsafe to play games and PPG is the best method, unfortunately that means we only get Europa League because villa made the cup final 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm all for the finishing of games behind closed doors. I want us to finish what we started. But PPG is a fairer way of ending it than voiding it altogether

lets see how the re-start goes, the first 2 games should be Villa Vs us and Arse Vs Citeh .........

We then have a 29 game finish point .............. by all means carry on, but if we do get stopped we do have a finish point

Wham and Bmuff will be cheering for us, ManU and Wulf cheering for Villa .... valuable game

and we will all have had 29 chances

If there is a champions league next season Man City will be in it.

Their punishment is “suspended” while their appeal goes through CAS. I highly doubt they will complete the appeal before champions league places need to be announced.

I agree with comments above about the news - finding issues with the government is more provocative than saying they are doing a good job. It's not more evolved, it's dumb as f**k.

Oxford would be promoted partly because they have been useless at home but brilliant away, and most importantly, with no account taken of strength of schedule.

For me, keep it simple at straight PpG, or weight it on the relative strength of the teams you have remaining to play. Not by paying lip service to difficulty.

The only bloody songs they sing is that bouncing shit and mind the gap song.
Mind the gap they can't do anymore for obvious reasons, and after we killed their bouncing song it's been like a library at Hillsborough so Silence is golden it will be then.
Unless its them Two Sow's singing "We're going on the piss with Chansiri".

i think its not perfect but people have complained that PPG didnt take into count home & away form. where as this idea at least goes this. its not perfect of course but lower league clubs cant play without gate receipts so if they naturally finish they would go bust
