Thing is with glass frontage, is that'll date in a few years. It's like the designs they did for the big upgrades a few years back, they look naff now, like a late 90s shopping centre. Old Trafford looks very 90s too.
Need to go for something more timeless, weird, or something not currently in that it might come in in the future.
Old red bricks, and steel, something that represents the city a bit more. That's what we should be building with for expansions, like Liverpool. I think their new main stand is glorious and will age well.
A bloody good wesh would help the South in the meantime, and a less scattergun approach to signage.
I think a proper sign for "The Tony Currie Stand" and painting the "T h e B l a d e s" bit and putting it as a proper sign mounted on the stations would be a nice fairly cheap upgrade.
