Your correct, salaries are crippling clubs.
The sooner the "big 6" disappear to the European Super League the better for the English leagues.

100% Forest - they’d be similar to us / Burnley in my opinion.

I think Everton are different, they over spent to try and get European football after finishing 8th a couple of times & 10 in 2020/21 ultimately it backfired and they became a relegation contender after Ancelotti left.

They had a good squad without putting themselves at risk. They are the premier league Sheffield Wednesday!
