Everton have already had a points deduction and that’s now under appeal, they’ll not get a second one in the same season.

Can you imagine how messy it would be if they get a second and go down, then a month after the season it gets reduced and they stay up. The Premier League will want to avoid that.

Also when you look at how long it’s taking for Man City’s investigation to conclude, if either of Forest or Everton’s takes as long there’s no way it’ll get done this season.
