International pressure is the only way to change Saudi culture, not SUFC. However due to money, it’s unlikely any real pressure will be applied. Take the WWE as an example, they love to promote women in wrestling and equality, but that goes out the window when the Saudis offer a deal worth $450m and the women aren’t allowed to work!
I just don't think we should give in that easily. I don't think it's the only way, and SUFC can play a part, however small, in pushing back against these types of attitudes. It's not that hard.
Some people are acting like the Prince is in the majority here when he isn't (or at least I thought so before reading some of the responses on this thread). He's still in the minority culture in this country and we're perfectly entitled to remind him of our values.
I wouldn't expect to go on a bar crawl in Saudi Arabia, no matter how rich I was.
