Given all the noise about impartiality and being in the Prince's pocket I would have thought the SUW boys would make a concerted effort to ensure they do ask the difficult questions and the uncomfortable ones. Any perception of giving the Prince an easy ride would be hugely detrimental to their channel and any ambitions they have for it.

I think the Prince has selected them for his interview as he will know being interviewed by a fan run podcast will almost definitely give him the final say over what does and doesn’t make the Final Cut, as opposed to an interview with a full time media outlet with journalists who would be reluctant to give him the final say over the editorial content.

I don’t mind Nick and Hal and some of the content they put out is fantastic and really enjoyable but I think there is every chance by getting this scoop, they are being used by the Prince to produce some content that will undoubtedly paint him in a good light

I get what you're saying but if the only comms we get from the Prince is some vanilla propaganda then it's not worth his while bothering. The fan base is clearly pissed off. Appearing on SUW and not answering the obvious, albeit difficult/uncomfortable questions, will only serve to piss people off more. Whilst at the same time turning people away from SUW because they're patsies of the Prince. Doesn't make sense for either party.

In addition, when The Star was in favour, how many times did they put him on the spot asking the difficult questions we wanted answers to? I can't remember any.

I don't watch much of your stuff but that's not a reflection on what you do and I have enjoyed the few I've seen. It's free, you put the legwork in, you're Blades and it seems to be a decent end product.

Do you own thing (as outlined above) and most Blades will enjoy it. There may be more questions raised from the interview, but at least you will have started the ball rolling.

Ignore the twats. There's some jealousy, some conspiracy theorists and quite a few total aresholes.

It’s your podcast, I’m assuming you do various work and research before any interview this would be no different, would be very simple to copy and paste questions into a post on here, forget a poll as that’s maybe too difficult for you, and people reply to the post and pick their top 10 or even top 5 questions if that makes your job easier. But seems like you are not interested in that sort of suggestion so you just pick and choose which questions to ask, don’t forget to send them to him first so he is ready to go with answers

It's largely just the middle of the beard that needs a bit of 'assistance'. Once I get to 45 I'll let it all go natural but my wife prefers it dyed and she's fit AF, so I listen to her. I'd not do anything to it if she didn't ask me to.

Having a go at Hal and Nick for getting info from the owner seems like people shooting the messenger to me. You can say you think they are too close to the club to be impartial and slag off their content but they're getting something no other media outlet is.

I really don't like how a fan channel and a supporter from Spain are the ones breaking this sort of information but that's not their fault. Obviously it's a 2 way street and they get the views and scoops but it seems like it's either SUW interviewing him or nobody.

There is a reason communication at other clubs isn't done this way but I don't think you can blame a fan channel for getting information and interviews from the owner when nobody else gets them. If you want to have a go at anyone then surely it's The Prince for refusing to work with more traditional outlets.

Sean I’ve said I no longer have any connection to any information from Sheffield United football club and do not get preferential treatment from them. I have as much information as anyone else on here and my opinions are my own and are not biased in anyway that would mean I would present the club in a positive light. If you want to you can come and find me on my season ticket seat at every game this season. As I say all my comments are in no way from inside of the club. All that shit and nonsense you’ve chucked at me in the past is no longer necessary now I’m neither privvy to anything or claim to be. I’ve made it clear in thee last 24hrs. I don’t want to post any questions as I know what I think and to be perfectly honest don’t see the point. My point is impartially if you are presenting a programme and you have interests. I'll make a prediction based on previous events.

The Prince only makes an appearance when he's on the charm offensive with positive news.
The talk will be "we offered N"Diaye the best salary ever" but he wanted to join his boyhood club. We said all along we're keeping all our players
unless we receive a great offer and that's what happened with Marseille and I can say we're adding the whole amount to improve the transfer fund.

He'll say how we've bought player X, player Y and player X (expect even more signings before he appears on Bladeway)
and he'll say we still very ambitious and have one or two more surprises lined up.

He'll say he was a massive fan of N'Diaye but he genuinely thinks even after losing N'Diaye this current squad is alot better than last years squad
and he'll say the policy was to buy young hungry players with the right attitude and talent, so they are great prospects for the future.

The Prince will also probably proving some positive news regards the take over
and say how he loves the club and knows we will be in great hands when he leaves.

I'm predicting that at the end of the show, everyone is smiling and feeling positive about the Prince and SUFC....

But that's how we ended up seeing Dozy on Rio Ferdinand's podcast talking shite. What's the point in keeping an amiable relationship with a supposedly very rich man who then disappears in a puff of smoke? Yes, we can all watch these things with a cynical eye, but you do kind of expect hosts to be able to see through the shit and push back where required.

FWIW, not saynig that SUW won't do this- I don't really engage with their stuff enough to comment either way.
