which restaurant are you in?I’m in a restaurant in Singapore and I’ve just spied they have Peroni on tap.
If this isn’t the omen we’re all looking for, then I don’t know what is.
It would be nice to get a few unexpected wins after playing well in a few games recently and not getting the deserved victory.
We need to remember the art of defence a little.
I can see Bash and Lundstram in the middle of the park. I’m slightly over my “throw Brooks in” moment, unless it’s for Billy. We could do with a bit of Big Sam back to basics on defending.
I’d take a bit less overlapping centre backs in this one and happily have the experience of Wright and Stearman alongside O’Connell.
Given we’re away, not losing wouldn’t be the worst. Perhaps Knill can step in and stop Wilder subbing the whole defence and throwing forwards on. “Come on Chris, leave it. He’s not worth it!”
Despite our wobble, a win puts us 13 above Wednesday once more. How their form has nosedived!
Peroni now in hand, come on you Red and White Wizaaaaards!!!
Yep same pattern, much the better side overall, but nothing to show for it.
That’s my feeling too but always live in hope that Clarke can win itSame old pattern is coming. We will have most of the game and they will score and nick it.
Carruthers too slow on the ball about time Lavery had a chance
Nothing more than Duffy and Brookes being ill.
That’s my feeling too but always live in hope that Clarke can win it
Not saying we have been brilliant, but still better than them.Much the better side? That’s some of the worst midfield ball retention I’ve seen since Wilder arrived.
Don’t think we’ll get anything from the game if we carry on like that.
Was always going to be a struggle with 3 first teamers missing from the centre of the park.
Samir not cutting it then ?[/QUOTE
No
Disagree about Lunny. He got sloppy towards the end of the half but before that he was the best midfielder on the pitch. Even got Gallagher booked. Sami is the link between midfield and up front and in that half he was missing for the most part.Sami doing ok, but Lundstrum has been poor, panicking on the ball with no composure or vision. Bash is just being bash tbh.
These are not a good side. In full flow we'd have pissed all over these with a first XI.
Carruthers has been shocking.
They are this second half.Sounds like their well on top at moment
Not saying we have been brilliant, but still better than them.
what time is the worldy from Preston due??
