Every time we've been in the Premier League the standard of the officiating we've received has been abysmal and the powers that be have treated us like peasants.I've mentioned elsewhere: that match against Newcastle should never have gone ahead given the tragedy of Maddy Cusack's passing a couple of days before, and I suspect that probably played a part in the reaction of club and players to the ridiculous performance and scoreline against the Barcodes.
It would have helped enormously too had we not had to play 17 minutes of injury time to allow Spurs to score the week before, and had the officials not allowed the Newcastle players to twice play basketball before scoring but ultimately we had a weak side both physically and mentally and the opponents took advantage.
