I find it's always good to mix up the pre-season friendlies, a couple against lower league sides to build up the confidence early doors then a couple of real testers against higher level better sides to measure progress made.

With that in mind.

A game against Championship level Nigel Clough's Burton Albion at The Lane would give you a sign of how far you've come pre-season under the master Adkins and his newly built squad.
